Terms of use

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Zajedno (the “Platform”).

By using the Platform, creating an account, making or recording a contribution, voting, proposing a project, submitting information or otherwise using its services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

2. What the Platform does

The Platform provides infrastructure through which users, funds, organizations and communities can organize and follow funding activities, projects and related information.

Depending on the features enabled for a particular fund, the Platform may allow users to:

  • support funds or projects;
  • allocate contributions to particular projects;
  • suggest projects;
  • participate in voting;
  • follow project milestones and updates;
  • review recorded project expenses and supporting information;
  • receive notifications relating to projects they support; and
  • participate in other community-funding activities made available by a fund.

3. Platform and fund operators

The Platform provides technical infrastructure. Individual funds, organizations and projects may be administered by independent parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the administrator or organization responsible for a fund or project is responsible for its description, decisions, project execution, expenses, documentation and other content.

The existence of a fund or project on the Platform does not by itself constitute an endorsement, guarantee or certification by the Platform.

4. Accounts

Some Platform functions require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your account credentials confidential.

You may not use another person's account without authorization or attempt to gain access to administrative areas, another user's data or another organization's restricted information.

We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, funds, organizations, the Platform or the integrity of its records.

5. Contributions and financial records

The Platform is designed to maintain a traceable history of recorded contributions and movements associated with funds and projects.

Financial records may therefore remain in the Platform as part of the transaction and accountability history even where related account information is later changed or deleted, subject to applicable law.

A displayed Platform balance, allocation or ledger record represents information recorded by the Platform. It does not itself represent a bank account, deposit account or other regulated financial product.

6. Payments

Where payments are processed through an external bank, payment provider or other financial service, that service may be subject to its own terms, fees, verification requirements and privacy policy.

A payment may not be considered successfully received until it has been confirmed or reconciled through the relevant payment or banking process.

7. Allocations and project funding

Where the Platform permits users to allocate funds to a project, the rules available for reclaiming, reallocating or settling that contribution may depend on the project's status.

Once a project has begun or funds have been committed or spent, an allocation may no longer be reversible.

The Platform interface will determine which actions are available for the current state of a fund or project.

8. Projects and outcomes

Supporting a project does not guarantee that the project will reach its funding target, begin on a particular date, be completed on schedule or produce a particular result.

Projects may be delayed, changed, rejected, cancelled, archived or otherwise affected by circumstances outside the Platform's control.

Project updates, milestones, budgets and expense information are intended to improve transparency but should not be interpreted as an independent audit unless explicitly stated otherwise.

9. Voting and community participation

Some funds may allow users to suggest projects or vote on proposals. Voting is a Platform participation mechanism and does not necessarily create a legal obligation to implement the winning proposal.

Final approval may remain subject to administrative, financial, legal, technical or other requirements applicable to the relevant fund or organization.

10. User content

Users may be able to submit project suggestions, descriptions, documents, messages or other content.

You must not submit content that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent or intentionally misleading;
  • infringes another person's rights;
  • contains malicious software or attempts to compromise the Platform;
  • contains personal information that you have no right to disclose; or
  • is submitted for abuse, harassment, manipulation or spam.

We may remove or restrict content where reasonably necessary to operate or protect the Platform.

11. Procurement and tenders

Where a fund uses procurement features, tender information, deadlines, offers and documents may be subject to additional rules published for the specific tender.

The Platform provides technical facilities for submitting and recording offers. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, it does not make procurement decisions or guarantee that any bidder will be selected.

12. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning correctly, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or development of the service.

13. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is not responsible for losses resulting solely from the acts, omissions, representations or project execution of independent fund operators, organizations, project administrators, users, bidders, payment providers or other third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated when the Platform, applicable requirements or its operating model changes.

The current version and its revision date will be published on this page. Continued use of the Platform after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.

15. Contact
